Review of the activities to work with adolescents in the prevention of behavioural addictions

The second transnational meeting of the project “Addict to you”, financed by Erasmus Plus, was held in Iasi (Romania) from 18 to 19 December.
This meeting has served to analyse the results of the research carried out on behavioural addictions in adolescents, which is already being translated into all the languages of the project partners. A total of 364 questionnaires have been analysed and will be collected in the research part of the project.

Also, more than 50 activities have been reviewed to work with adolescents in the prevention of 4 behavioural addictions: cyberaddiction, addiction to social networks, addiction to video games and gambling addiction. Once they have been reviewed, the next phase would be to test them together with the work package that is in the process of being developed, that will include:

  • A methodological guide with a detailed explanation on how to identify teenage leaders and how to involve and motivate them in the project.
  • A school exchange to be held in Spain, date to be determined.
  • A promotional video of the project with parts of the testing sessions of the activities, interviews with the teenagers and the participating professionals.
  • A final transnational meeting to be held in Spain in November.

All the information about the project is available on their Facebook channels – Addict to you and Instagram – Addict to you.
