The first meeting of the project “Addict to you”: adolescence empowerment and prevention through innovative tools”” was held on February 13th, in a telematic way with the entities Federación de Centros Juveniles Don Bosco de Castilla y León (Spain), Gamma Institute (Romania), Scoala Primara Lorelay (Romania), Jobra (Portugal) and ASPAYM CYL (Spain).
Don Bosco is the coordinating entity of this project funded by the Erasmus Plus programme, which aims to develop, test and implement innovative working methods in the field of school education.
The aim is to enable educators and adolescent leaders to develop inclusive activities, in which school students can actively participate, with the objective of creating and strengthening social and behavioural skills that prevent addictive behavioural behaviours. In this way, the following materials are intended to be developed throughout the project:
- Research on behavioural addictions in adolescents and analysis of prevention systems used in the school context.
- Digital training for educators.
- Methodological guide for school educators.
- School exchange through school ambassadors.
In this first meeting, the participants described the contents of the project and the distribution of the work plan. In addition, the dissemination plan and the quality plan have been established, and a first proposal has been made to carry out the research on behavioural addictions.
