School exchange for the prevention of behavioural addictions in adolescents

The consortium of the European project Addict to you, co-financed by the Erasmus Plus programme, has participated in the school exchange held in El Bosque de los Sueños (Cubillos del Sil, León), from 30 September to 6 October.

The aim of this exchange was to train young people from each country (Spain, Portugal and Romania) in the methodology developed in the project, to become the first ‘Addict to you school ambassadors’.

In the first sessions, different dynamics and activities were carried out to get to know each other and promote group cohesion. Once this had been achieved, each of the four behavioural addictions addressed in the project were worked on: cyberaddiction, gambling/video game addiction, gambling/betting addiction and addiction to social networks. In this way, these school ambassadors have been trained by providing them with tools to prevent behavioural addictions through empowerment and peer education.

All the information about the project is available on its Facebook – Addict to you and Instagram – Addict to you channels.
